Efficiency reigns with the
Platform Stacker from Packaging
Progressions Inc. The stacker
receives individual bread slices,
bagels or doughnuts in multiple
lanes directly from the freezer. The bakery foods are then aligned,
placed upright and fed to the bagging or packaging machine. The
company says the system accommodates a variety of sizes for the
same product. It is servo driven and
features PLC controls.
