MIWE oven installations can be found throughout Germany and all over the world. MIWE ovens bake products on all five continents. The company is a leader in several sectors within the international baking business in which the company has made a name for itself since 1919.

Its advanced level of innovation in oven construction as well as in refrigeration and bakery technology is the reason bakers choose MIWE time and again. MIWE installed its first Windows-based software systems at two bakeries in Germany in 1993 to network baking ovens and proofing equipment. Since then, continual enhancements have expanded the system's range of functions and increased its user friendliness. The current version of winCAB32 uses state-of-the-art 32-bit software. A consistent Windows user interface gives customers easy access to a large number of functions such as:

  • networking ovens and cooling equipment within the bakery
  • networking for remote diagnosis of ovens and cooling equipment at branch locations
  • alarm system for cooling equipment

A histogram logs all events (e.g. operation, faults, warnings, etc.), and all the parameters available on a particular device can be easily set. Some of the controllable functions include:

  • baking and cooling sequences
  • weekly timer control
  • device-specific parameters
  • real-time clock
  • operating hours meter

MIWE's winCAB32 has been designed with the future in mind. It already supports the TCP/IP-based Internet standard. MIWE was one of the founders and active supporters of BAKELINK, the non-proprietary networking standard.
