Problem: How can medium-size bakeries increase muffin and cupcake production without breaking the bank?

Solution: Hinds-Bock’s Five Piston Tabletop Depositors allow bakers to save in labor costs, time and product waste–all at a high rate of speed.

There are problems associated with depositing muffin and cupcake batter by hand. Expensive labor rates, product waste and inconsistency, slow production rates, messiness and repetitive motion injuries are concerns, just to name a few.

“It’s time to graduate to the Hinds-Bock Five Piston Tabletop Depositor,” says Lance Aasness, vice president of Hinds-Bock Corp. “Go from scooping batter by hand to depositing five precise muffins at a time. Where you may have been able to deposit 10 muffins per minute, you will now be able to deposit up to 150 muffins or cupcakes per minute, perfectly portioned every time. Increase quality, consistency and customer satisfaction. It’s a win-win for you and your customers.”

Quick Tip

Hinds-Bock tabletop depositors are the answer for bakers with limited space. They handle all batters with gentle care, and maintain the integrity of quality products. They can handle a wide variety of pans with simple and fast changeover.

Hinds-Bock Tabletop Depositors are the answer for bakers with limited space. They handle all batters with gentle care, and maintain the integrity of quality products. These simple-to-operate depositors are economical and maintenance-free workhorses. They can handle a wide variety of pan configurations such as muffin, cupcake, sheet cake and rounds with simple and fast changeover.

“For larger bakeries, we have the answer,” says Aasness. Hinds-Bock’s “Answer” machines are automatic depositors available in several different configurations depending on your product requirements. Optional pan oilers, paper cup denesters and toppers are also available.

For the highest production rates, Hinds-Bock is the leader in the manufacturing of industrial muffin batter depositing lines. Muffin lines are available in several sizes for production rates as high as 18,000 lbs. per hour. Automatic tray denesting, automatic paper cup denesting and batter depositing using our industrial depositor are included.

“These highly efficient lines can be operated with a minimal amount of labor and the high percentage of up time leads to high yield and low operating costs,” says Aasness. “The Hinds-Bock industrial depositor utilizes diving spouts for clean accurate depositing of the most viscous batters including those containing a high concentration of frozen fruit or berries.” Optional modules includes a moist streusel depositor, a dry ingredient topper for nuts, sugar, chocolate chips, sprinkles and oat flakes and an extra large intermediate hopper that can be insulated and will accept multiple batches from the mixing bowls.

For more than 35 years, Hinds-Bock has been manufacturing fillers, depositors, transfer pumps and icers for bakery applications, as well as further automation such as conveyors, denesters, heat-sealers, lidders, etc. For additional information, please see the Hinds-Bock website at www.hinds-bock.com or email info@hinds-bock.com.
