Kliklok-Woodman has introduced the Vari-Straight Topload Carton Closer. The Vari-Straight is a straight-line closer for tri-seal cartons that takes Kliklok-Woodman's revolutionary variable pitch technology to a higher level. To provide a controlled carton turn without a change in direction, the unique turning bed features “pop-up” turning bars that capture the cartons and guide them through a 90° turn and into the charlotte closing section. The inherent slip and timing issues associated with conventional “lugless” carton closers are eliminated. Standard features include: industry-leading ease of operation with Insight® Color Touch Screen HMI; patented Variable Pitch carton transport; off-the-shelf servos, drives and machine controls; easy 3-D carton size changeover; and stainless steel construction with rugged, welded tubular steel frame.

Versatile, sanitary sifter

The stainless steel Tru-Balance sifter by Great Western Manufacturing provides sanitary gravity flow, atmospheric pressure sifting. All product contact surfaces are made of 4B stainless steel and welded to eliminate crevices, rivets, and nuts or bolts. The sifter features a boxless design with nest-together sieve frames for rapid access for sieve removal. This stacked screen construction saves floor space.
