Shelby Weeda, president, King's Hawaiian, Torrance, Calif., retired at the end of December after nearly 30 years with the company.
Barry Callebaut, Chicago, named Ken Cotich vice president of operations and supply chain organization in the Americas region. Cotich previously served as vice president of sales-corporate accounts. The company also promoted Ben De Schryver from pricing director for North America to vice president of corporate accounts for North America. In addition, Johanne Beauregard was promoted to pricing director for North America. She previously worked as pricing supervisor for North America.
Lantmannen Unibake, Lisle, Ill., appointed Gustaf Tynelius sustainability manager. Tynelius' primary focus is to reduce Lantmannen Unibake's climate impact by 20 percent by 2012 using an extensive 100-step program. Tynelius holds degrees in environmental engineering and agricultural engineering.
