"We are extremely excited to have Robb as the next leader of ABA," Gary Prince, ABA's chairman of the board and Weston Foods Inc.'s president and chief executive officer, said. "We feel strongly that Robb has the leadership skills, intelligence and energy to take ABA and the wholesale baking industry to a new level."

MacKie joined ABA in 1995 and has served as a baking industry liaison on many issues, including human resources, safety, and fleet and distribution. Prior to joining ABA, MacKie worked for various members of congress.

ABA also promoted Lee Sanders to senior vice president of government relations and public affairs. Sanders will retain her position as corporate secretary for the association. Sanders has been with ABA since 1993, and has served in various capacities, most recently as vice president, regulatory and technical services.
