Emulsifier prices rising
Due to the impact of dramatically increasing costs for commodity
raw materials, such as soy bean oil, palm oil, stearic acid and
glycerin, Caravan Ingredients is forced to increase the prices,
according to a company release.
Effective November 1, 2007, prices will be increased for all
products not covered by supply contracts.
“The price increase was inevitable due to spiraling raw material costs,” said Ian Trood, vice president, sales, Caravan Ingredients.
