Philadelphia-based Tasty Baking Co. entered the low-carbohydrate and sugar-free product markets by launching Tastykake Sensables™, a product line that contains zero grams of sugar and four to eight net grams of carbohydrates per serving. The line includes individual and boxed Plain Donuts and Mini Plain Donuts; Chocolate Chip Soft Cookie Bars and Chocolate Chocolate Chip Soft Cookie Bars; and Orange Finger Cakes and Chocolate Chip Finger Cakes.

"We created the Sensables line to appeal to anyone who wants less sugar and lower net carbs than our regular products, without sacrificing quality," Karen Schutz, Tasty Baking's director of new business development, said.
