Dominicks in-stores to be revamped
Dominick’s unveiled a new store format this month featuring an upscale in-store bakery. The Chicago-based supermarket chain, owned by Safeway Inc., plans to convert more than 100 stores to its new “Lifestyle” format, but did not publicize a timetable. “We want it as quickly as possible,” Dominick’s President Bruce Everette told the Chicago Sun-Times.
