The acrylamide debate continues to gain steam as the State of California and its attorney general ramp up their public relations machine. Click on the link to the left to read a recent letter that the attorney general sent to the San Francisco Chronicle.

At the bottom of the letter, the attorney general asks a question that should send chills up the spines of all food manufacturers: "Why doesn't the food industry want to tell you the truth about what you're eating?"

What do you think about the acrylamide debate and the attorney general's letter? More importantly, what do you think about the attorney general's accusation that food manufacturers are deceiving the public? Let me know by sending an email to kseiz@penton.com.
